Italy - Finale Ligure (May / June 2010)
In early summer 2010 we had a vacation in Italy for the first time.
For the travelougue of this vacation we hired an italian guest commentator: Giuseppe. He is a typical country bumpkin: simple-minded but amicable. He has a funny italian accent. Giuseppe is imaginary. But nevertheless let him report now.

Thise year se bumble bee and se wolf hade their first common vacation in se Italy. Their friends Rainer ("Otto", "Toni") and Barbara ("Schoeneberger) spente often their holiday in se Italy and convinced to spend all se holiday together in se city of Finale Ligure of Liguria of Italia. Wente by car there! |

Se Landscape in se Liguria ise very impressive. You look ande look and never gete enough. In se front of Finale Ligure is se med sea located. In se back of Finale are located se mountains. Can you make a varied vacation: lying at se beach or hiking in se mountains. Se best of all: se landscape never ends - it ise just there ande never ends ande you can use for free all landscape! |  |

On se first days was a little rainy, could not stay on se beach. Doesn'te matter, tooke se bus and drove along se coast. Visited Varigotti, a tipical italiano village with a nice historic centre. Some of se houses were restored ande very lovely to looke at. Some of sem looke like se tenement at home: little battered... Other day we were padding through tutti Finale ande reached Borgo (historic districte of Finale) ande have had se lovely cappucino. La dolce vita! |

We founde se accomodation in se Villa Castelletto. Is a nice old historical house with many charme and many stairs. Is se world cultural heritage of se UNESCO I think. Ah no wait. Is only se monument protected. Better san nothing, va bene? Se Villa hase many steps because it ise located at se flank of se hill with nice view to se med sea and se view to se steeple of church of se district Finalpia. Se view on se steeple wase not necessary. You coulde hear it anyway striking eache hour, se dirtbag. I woulde have loved to strike backe, believe it! |

Hade had lovely weather during (nearly) whole se vacation! Did we relax at se beach many days, nine days! Whate have we done throughout thise time? Firste day played beache tennis, then back of Toni was broken. Dide we jumpe into se water, water was soo cold, only 16°! After some minutes was okay, se water, if you survived se firste two minutes. Dide we read a lot, all of us four. But hade only two book with us. So sometimes three of us reade se same book. Wase complicated: was like se relay race at a se Olympics! Also often covered our ears because se italian people talke and listen at se same time ande talke se hind legs off a donkey! |

Hade lots of arsitecture in se Italia. Looke se fotos and see many house now. Many old deteriorated house, but only from se outside looke deteriorated. Frome inside you have se nice living room with se lovely view on se med sea. Better have a nice view and a grotty storefronte than se other way rounde! |  |

Here you see se ball performers Toni and Schoeneberger. Played good matche only se firste day, then se back of Tonis wase down se drain. Made more sports (although hade holidays!): made we se walking in se morning. In se morning had low air humidity, good for se walking. At night se wine humidity wase too much for se making sports. We threw withe se coloured balls also, ise called bocce I believe. Threw se big balls to hit the smalle ball, but also threw se big balls to hit the litter bins on se beache. Wase funny and se other people had good laugh at se sports of Toni and se wolf.... |

Se balconies in Italia containe many flowers and many clothes. Ise very interesting for se people and very tipical for se people in se south of Europe. You can looke in se morning how se weather will be. Ande you can looke se underwear of se neighbour. |  |

Youknow, was mentioned se varied holidays already. Did note only relaxe on se beach, but also made se hiking. Not only se hiking frome villa to se beache, but made se real hiking through se mountains. Dide we hike seven hours along se mountains. Maybe wase better taking se taxi, is easier. Youknow, ise se vacazzione ande shall do no work in se vacazzione. Bute nobody listened. So we hiked through se mountains ande through se hinterland of Varigotti. Dide we also reach Varigotti. Seve hours! Varigotti is only halfe se hour away if you take se way along se coast! Seve hours! Muste have been because of se italian signpost - there were none! |

Existe many birds and flowers in se Italia. You remember se flowers from se balcony and here you can see many birds and many other animals. Wase fore example very difficulte make se picture from se snail. When you come along with se camera to se snail you have to hurry otherwise se snail vanishes hush, hush! |  |

Finale Ligure has a lovely promenade! Even goes along se beach, se promenade, va bene! We walked along se promenade very often, moste often from all ways because: was se most shortest way from se beache to se gelato-icecream shop Carlin. Carlin offers se most best ice cream in se whole of se world, I bet! Mr. Carlin gotta se dollar signs in his eyes when he saw us, I swear! |  |

On se laste saturday we have hade se diner in a speciale ristorante. Ise called Ristorante agriturismo. Ise like farm holidays, but only difference is: you do not make holidays, but have a diner. Ise much work because you have to eat alle se stuff on se pictures! Big menu. Se best you do not eat anything se day before. Then will fit into your stomach, se whole menu! |  |

Well. Have now written se whole texte for se bumble bee and se wolf. I am convinced that I am undercut! But neverseless, I am finish now while bumble bee and wolf have to get backe to Germania ande while I am finishe they have to resume work, har har... Giuseppe |
