Tuerkey - Side - Hotel Miramare Queen (Aug 2005)
Our honeymoon!!!
Two days after we got married we went on honeymoon to Turkey, staying in the hotel Miramare Queen: THREE whole weeks vacation in a row - a dream came true :-)
Our room was beauteous and spacy with a splendid view on the pool and the Med Sea.

| Each day we headed for the beach and walked across the hotel garden. On the way we passed many palm trees and bushes. But we missed the colours of blooming flowers as can be seen in other hotels. |   |
The beach was pretty good looked for and it was kept very tidy. No algae was present (as could be seen on the neighbour hotels' beaches). This beach was worth living for! We spent the days with reading, swimming, and walking along the beach. As a honeymoon is somewhat .. uuh .. exertive the time on the beach was our regeneration program ;-)

Occasionally we made a soft drink run (from the pool bar). At night we went shopping to Kumkoey, a district of Side in which the hotel is located. The shopping facilities in Kumkoey are incredible - we had difficulties in storing all the new clothes in our suitcase when we returned....
Between beach regeneration and shopping at night we made extended use of the hotel's meals. Again we booked AI (all inclusive), this means breakfast, diner, lunch and all beverages included. We skipped the afternoon teas (with cake) to save calories - the scales at home said 'thanks' :-)
All up we spent our honeymoon in a very nice hotel which we can recommend with a good heart. We will always remember this vacation.
